How long is the adventure?
No more than 60 mins and the routes are 3km - 3.5km long.
How many people in a team?
You can book as a team of 2 or more people, or individually. If you sign up individually but are looking to join up with for fellow adventurers, drop us a line. We suggest 2 - 6 Onigoers per team, if you are more then enter two separate bookings and take each other on!
Can I cancel my booking / get a refund?
Once the booking is confirmed we cannot accept any cancellations or give any refunds. However, if you are unable to play on the day of the booking you can postpone your booking to a future date on request by emailing email@example.com
Is there somewhere to leave my bag or possessions?
Unfortunately there's no bag drop facility. Providing you are not looking to set a world record time, wearing a backpack is a good alternative. One Onigoer even wheeled a suitcase round...
Will there be someone facilitating / instructing the game?
The game is designed to be completely self-sufficient via your smartphone. When you arrive at the start point and your team is complete, just open the link in your confirmation email. From time to time, an Onigo team member may be present as they would love to get your invaluable feedback!
How hard is it?
Each route is 3 - 3.5km long. The Murder of J. Conway has medium difficulty puzzles and The Break Out has medium - hard difficulty puzzles. In both games you have 60mins to complete the route and solve the puzzles. The games are designed for all levels of fitness; you can complete each one in the time limit at a medium to brisk walk!
Do I need to wear sports clothes?
No, it is completely up to you. You can walk, jog or run - so wear whatever you feel most comfortable in for the activity you choose.
Do I need a smartphone?
Yes, please bring a fully charged smartphone!
Is it buggy friendly?
Absolutely! All paths are tarmac and it's a great activity for groups of parents with buggies!
Is it suitable for kids?
The level of problem-solving is aimed at 16+ however, under 16s can join for free providing they are comfortable with walking 3 - 3.5km.
